Professor Thomas Wake Appointed as a Research Associate of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute

It is our great pleasure to announce that Professor Thomas Wake has been appointed as a Research Associate of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI).  Research Associate status is awarded to individuals who have a record of research activity at STRI and who are considered to merit a formal scholarly affiliation.  Wake will continue archaeological and paleoecological research at Sitio Drago and elsewhere in Bocas del Toro Province, Panama with undergraduates, graduate students, STRI researchers and Panamanian colleagues.
