Southwestern Lab

The Southwestern Lab (Fowler A335) is directed by Greg Schachner, Associate Professor of Anthropology. Schachner is currently planning a collaborative field project with state, federal, and private landowners, as well as native groups, in the area east of Petrified Forest National Park. Additionally, Schachner is working with Tiffany Clark, a Research Associate, to organize the extensive PARP collections (Pajarito Plateau Research Project) of the late Professor of Anthropology, Jim Hill.  Several volunteers are assisting with this challenging project.
