Labs
The Cotsen Institute of Archaeology is an interdisciplinary organized research unit, bringing together UCLA faculty members and research associates from affiliated departments. It provides a stimulating intellectual environment for graduate students through the UCLA Interdepartmental Archaeology Graduate Program and the UCLA/Getty Program in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, and for undergraduate students interested in cultural heritage research. Additionally, the Institute houses numerous laboratories and research groups directed by faculty, research staff and research associates. Labs and groups are organized by research topic and focus on faculty research projects, host related activities and may offer volunteer opportunities.
