There will be a Special Lecture Wednesday, November 14th at 5:30 PM in Dodd 275 by Conservation Faculty Candidate Dr. Alice Paterakis, Director of Conservation Kamen-Kalehoyuk, Yassihoyuk, and Buklukale Excavations, Japanese Institute of Anatolian Archaeology.
Dr. John Jonson, Curator of Anthropology, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, will meet us at the museum and discuss Native American artifacts in their collection. An excursion to the Chumash Painted Cave is also planned to be included.

On March 12, 2017, Anthony Caldwell, manager of the Scholarly Innovation Lab at UCLA, took an FoA group on a tour of architectural treasures in downtown Los Angeles, focusing in particular on the old movie theaters that at one time studded the stretch of Broadway from Third Street to Ninth Street.
