Jo Anne Van Tilburg Featured in College Magazine, "60 Minutes" and Podcast


The monolithic stone statues that were carved and placed on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) from around 1100 to 1400 have fascinated the world for decades. Van Tilburg and Anderson Cooper discussed efforts to preserve them recently on CBS' "60 Minutes." The Easter Island Statue Project (EISP) and Van Tilburg's work with the Rapanui was also featured in UCLA's College Magazine. The moai continue to garner interest, as heard in the podcast "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me!" - can you spot the bluff?
